FUSE

FUSE

AFUSE we provide information, resources and support to  families and individuals with disabilities or mental health needs. When families first learn that their child has a disability or a mental health care need, they often don’t know where to turn. As those children grow into adulthood, services and supports change, and families need to learn how to navigate new systems and services. We act as a guide with individuals and families to information and resources that help them meet their individualized needs and live a fulfilling life in their community. We host training sessions, Q&A meetings, and seasonal social events, and we host some group skill building programs throughout the year, so families have a variety of ways to get involved. Families can engage with us by phone, email social media or by attending any of our events. Our email newsletter helps individual and families stay on top of current disability news and information.

Information from previous surveys have been used to better understand the status of services in Indiana and to identify additional support and funding needs. Information has also been used to inform policy makers. Members of the Indiana Autism Policy Group represent the Autism Society of Indiana, Arc of Indiana, Riley Child Development Center, Easterseals Crossroads, and faculty from Purdue University, Ball State University, and Indiana University. Participation is voluntary. All information will be kept confidential and presents no risk to those completing the form. We simply need your input.
